Happenings

We started things off in November with our local Fair/Carnival.
About mid month we hit the Jacksonville Zoo, and finished up the month
with Thanksgiving at my MILs.

In between, Dh suffered an attack of H-pylori, which he didn't know he had,
and spent 2 nights/3 days in the hospital. During which his kidney function
dropped to 21% (right at transplant eval level), then rebounded to 29%.

It was a crazy time, but I am so grateful for a hospital/staff that was thorough
and on the ball and left nothing to chance. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised
by our local hospital in this regard. God is awesome.

Coming up in January, we have a trip to Okefenokee Swamp for their light show,
picking out and cutting our tree, one last shopping trip, and Christmas, of course.
Our church should start their seasonal music next week, and I can hardly wait.

I'll leave you with a few pics I've taken the last few weeks, and pray you have
a joyful and blessed Christmas season.

    1. He's okay now. It was H-pylori, a nasty stomach infection. His kidneys are doing well now, too (as well as they can at this stage). Thanks so much for your prayers!
