Repurposing Old Bed Sheets

Thrifty, frugal, and fun!

I especially like the sheets to napkins idea. If you shop at thrift stores on linen sale
days, you can get these for a steal! The comments have more great ideas as well, so
be sure to check them out. What things do you like to repurpose?

I use old butter crocks for storing food (and sending lunch with Dh to work)
Old washcloths for grungy cleaning, or kitchen cleaning (and keep them out of sight)
Old soap pumps for more soap and cleaners
Jars from sauces to store dry beans and rice
And more!

  1. Hi Tammy! Great ideas you have.I like to use coffee syrup bottles with the squirt tip for melted butter for drizzling. The plastic ice cream containers work well for storing sponges, dish rags etc under the sink.

    1. Great ideas, too! How do you keep the butter melted in the squirt bottle? Microwave? Warm water bath?

  2. I just use the microwave for less than a minute.

  3. Hi Tammy, just dropped in to say hello. Love your ideas for being frugal. I have a container in the laundry room to keep my old wash clothes and T-shirts for easy wipe ups around the house.
