Quite a lot has happened since my last posting.
Drake started soccer. He missed his first two games b/c of strep, but we're back on track now.
Dh and my anniversary was Sept 26. We had a nice meal out and exchanged cards, as usual.
Drake turned 7 on Sept 30. He chose to eat at Pizza Inn, and he got a Chipmunks movie (his new favorite thing).
We started 2nd grade/homeschool on Oct 1, and he's doing so well. His reading is better than it was when we stopped over a month ago, and he's eager and excited.
Today, Oct 3 we have Drake's party. It's a Pocoyo theme. I figured he'd go with Blaze or Tom and Jerry or something, but he chose P. Oh well, it makes him happy (it was a cute show) and that's what counts.
Coming up in a couple weeks is our fall vacation to Stone Mountain for the Highland Games.
Dh's birthday is the 25, so another dinner out will be in order.
We'll trick or treat prob in Odum again, though I'm not sure if we'll get together with friends there this year.
There's also the local corn maze, and a couple things with the neighboring county's homeschool group.
Busy, busy busy!
