Good Things

Delusionment, Disappointment. Anger. Turning away.
How often is this our script when things don't go the 'right' way?
*read: OUR way*

It is definately the way of the world.  Why believe in God?  Why does He allow
such terrible things to happen?   What's the point?

And yet we are told:  He withholds no good thing from us.  Psalms 84:11

No good thing.  Not one.  And it is true. But from earth, like looking up at the
underside of  a tapestry, we only see the tangle of knots and hardships that make up our lives. 

But God looks down on this life He is weaving and from His side, the RIGHT side,
it is beautiful and inspiring and absolutely good. 

He isn't the problem, our viewpoint, attitude and expectations are.
We need his attitude, his patience to see this thing through to the beautiful and glorious
end, which is not here on earth with health and wealth, but in Heaven with Him, made Holy
and Pure and filled with His grace.

And the only way to do that is to follow Paul's advice and run our race, keep the faith, and allow
God's work in our lives to transform us, give us an attitude of gratitude, and start to see things with
His eyes and His heart.

It is my prayer we all open ourselves to His work, both in this Season and all year round.
